Stop the presses!!! Young girl's hair is ripped out by an electric mixer! Ban mixers! Put warning labels on them! Something must be done to stop these dangerous machines!!

Actually the same thing happened to me when I was three years old! One of my curly locks drooped down into the mixing bowl and the next thing I knew, I had a big raw bald spot on the top of my head. Scared my mom pretty badly.

Mom's: You know not to let fingers or spatulas get caught in the beaters. Just be careful and watchful of the children.

    This reminds us all how in a short couple of seconds, a horrible accident can occur. I'm a klutz myself and not too handy with some things, but it's a good reminder to remember how quickly one can get hurt doing mundane things.

      The mother just looked away for a second she said. She is lucky her daughter didn't mangle her fingers! At least hair grows back.
